2006 TEMPRANILLO $20.00 Bottle
Tempranillo is Spain’s most noble red grape and earns its name from the variety’s propensity to ripen early (Temprano means ‘early’ in Spanish). Grown in our vineyard climatically similar to the classic regions of Spain, handpicked, hand plunged and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, this wine shows distinctive plum and mocha characters typical of this variety. Although Tempranillo is a medium bodied variety it has the ability to age in the bottle and this wine should prove no exception. Cellar carefully till 2010.
